Trust Preamble
This agreement is designed to help travelers and hosts build trust from day one. It’s written in plain language so both parties know what’s expected — and what’s fair. By signing, both sides commit to clear communication, honesty, and respect throughout the stay.
1) Basics of the Stay
Address, dates, rent amount, included utilities, and any furnishings. Both parties confirm the space is suitable and respectfully maintained.
2) Cultural Consideration
Both parties agree to approach cultural differences with understanding and open communication. If something feels unclear or unusual, we talk first.
3) Mutual Exit
If circumstances change, either party may end the stay early with respectful notice. Standard notice: [NoticeDays] days (or as required locally). Any prepaid amounts are reconciled fairly.
4) Payments & Deposits
Rent due on [DueDay] each month via [Method]. Deposits, if any, are held for damages beyond normal wear. Provide receipts and return timely after checkout.
5) House Rules
Quiet hours, shared areas, guests, smoking, pets, and local registration if needed. Rules are reasonable, clear, and communicated before signing.
6) Disputes & Good Faith
We resolve issues in good faith. Start with a conversation, then written notice. If needed, seek local mediation resources before legal steps.
